Reconstruction of old industrial premises to meet the needs of the company profile – construction and earth moving fleet repair stations and workshops. Construction survey group training in using Total Station, LisCAD and AutoCAD software techniques, control over survey field works in road construction. Coal deposit data collection/interpretation, reserve modeling and planning, geostatistical studies on coal seams using Datamine Studio3 software (Tkibuli Coal Mine, West Georgia). The deposit operates since sixties of 19th century, having been opened under the Russian Emperor’s decree. Geological and engineering data was presented in the forms of core drill logs, handmade drawings of horizontal and vertical sections. The log data was transferred into spreadsheets, checked for consistency using histograms and scatter plots. There were 18 coal seams in the deposit measuring 11 by 5 km in size, for every single seam I had built a roof and floor triangulated networks and checked for intersections between floor and roof for an individual seam as well as for over- or underlaying seams. Each seam with geometry, controlled by numerous tectonic faults, was filled in with virtual blocks using dynamic anisotropy method developed at Datamine International, and populated with up to 12 elements, such as heat content, ash content, porosity, etc.

Long&short term mine planning, reserves estimation, geological modeling, pit optimization using Datamine Studio 3 and NPV Scheduler. Under my supervision geological, geo-technical, survey end engineering data for Madneuli Copper-Gold deposit was collected and interpreted in the form of 3D wireframe models and spreadsheets, based on which Snowden Group had made a resource estimation and reserve modeling for the deposit. Since then I had been doing long and short term (30 days) mine plans starting from 2006 up to Jan 2013. I had also made a resource estimation, reserves modeling and mine planning for Balichi Copper-Gold Deposit and Sakdrisi Gold Deposit, both located near Madneuli.

Contracted Surveyor at Deno Gold Mining in Armenia. Worked as acting Chief Surveyor at underground gold-copper mine. Duties and responsibilities included training staff in surveying practices using Leica Total Station, assisting in technical software applications for mining, planning, geology and other related activities; teaching trainees techniques for AutoCAD; setting up the new personal structure of the survey group. I’d surveyed existing underground mine using Leica Total Station and made a 3d drawings using LisCAD software. I’d surveyed tailings dam and surrounding terrain, producing contour line drawings and 3d wireframes.

Duties included managing the survey& mining engineering department, Chief Surveyor reporting to me. I had set up survey procedures at the open-pit using Total Station and LisCAD software – daily survey of blast holes, mapping, stakeout, etc; month end survey of mined area, digital terrain modeling, calculating volumes between the surfaces as an alternative volume&tonnage control of the material moved to crusher bin, low grade ore stockpile, waste dump and ore stockyard. Duties also included implementation of truck load and movement monitoring system, earthmoving machinery performance calculation, network diagram and operations schedule for drilling and blasting works, drill rig performance monitoring (optimal rotation speed, drill bit penetration rate in various rock types, etc).

Stores and Supplies control using Mainpac The Asset Maintenance System Software. I set up stores for the company, organizing both bin locations and maintaining regular stocktake. Materials and spare part issues was immediately recorded in the computerized system, which made it possible to control critical amount of spare parts based on a minimum number in a store bin to release purchase orders in time. The system controlled due time for diesel generator, pump motor, machinery engine replacement parts, operation of which was monitored by dedicated spotters, bringing their records to my office daily Heap Leach Pad construction supervisor, structural and mechanical designs – ADR columns, reinforced concrete vats, maintenance workshop and AD plant concrete base; company residential house (drawings, expenses, materials supply, accounting, construction crew timing, salary calculation, etc. Oral and written translations.
